This page contains a summary of the various ministries conducted
by the Jackson congregation.

        Thursday School:

Thursday School begins in September of each year and continues through April. It follows the Jackson Public School schedule in regard to holidays and bad weather days. Classes begin on Thursday morning at  9:30 AM and continue until Noon for children 3 - 5 years old. The curriculum consists of a Bible class, ABC's class, Story and Games class, and a Crafts class. Vacation Bible School:

In addition to the above, the Jackson Church of Christ has many on-going programs available for the edification of the membership and the service of the Jackson community.  They include, Benevolence, Friendship Sisters, Gospel Meetings, Monthly Fellowships, Youth Rally, Participation in Summer Youth Series, Staffed Nursery during worship, Support of Paragould Children’s Home, Christian Family Services in St. Louis, and Red Cross Blood Drives.  Our deacons, or volunteers from among our membership coordinate many of these efforts.

The following lists those who are employed by the church in areas of service pertinent to the day-to-day operations of the congregation.

Secretary—Joy Kaye Watson has served the congregation as secretary since 2006.  Joy Kaye is responsible for the clerical, filing, and administration of the church office.  She also publishes the church bulletin on a weekly basis.

Joy Kaye and her husband Scott are the proud parents of Savannah, Sydney, Peyton and Lili.

Janitor—Kelly Garland has served as Janitor of the church since 1976.  Kelly is responsible for the cleaning and appearance of the building from week to week.

Treasurer—Gary Miller and his wife, Jane have one daughter, Kelly.
